Guerrero officials promote women's leadership in tourism
The government of Guerrero is working to strengthen the participation of women in the state's tourism and economic development. This was announced by Teodora Ramírez Vega, Secretary of Economic Development, during the opening of the IX International Congress of the Association of Female Tourism Business Executives (AFEET) in Zihuatanejo.
Ramírez Vega emphasized that tourism is a strategic activity for the state economy, helping to preserve jobs and promote local products, culture, and gastronomy. The state administration aims to link companies, producers, artisans, and traditional cooks to create growth opportunities for local communities. The congress serves as a platform for leaders to share experiences and analyze challenges within the tourism sector.
