Gueta Chapo supports Mozambique's Miss World 2026 candidate

Mozambican First Lady Gueta Selemane Chapo has announced her support for model Arcenia Quehá, who is representing Mozambique in the Miss World 2026 competition. The pageant final is scheduled to take place on September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

Quehá, the winner of the Mozambique Beauty Awards 2025, marks the country's first appearance in this international competition. She has already achieved a significant milestone by reaching the top 10 in global voting. To support her historic debut, the First Lady is sending a specialized professional team to Vietnam, including a stylist, hairdresser, and makeup artist, to assist with the final stages of the contest.

Quehá, originally from the Sofala province, is currently in Vietnam for pre-final activities. The First Lady has called upon Mozambicans both domestically and abroad to support the candidate through popular voting to help her reach the Miss World 2026 final.
