Guglielmo Vicario solidifies starting role at Juventus

Guglielmo Vicario has established himself as the undisputed starting goalkeeper for Juventus following his move from Tottenham. Despite initial doubts regarding his performance in England and questions from coach Luciano Spalletti, Vicario has gained significant respect within the locker room for his leadership and connection to the club's project.

While Vicario remains the primary starter, Juventus is reportedly looking toward the future. Lorenzo Palmisani of Frosinone has emerged as a potential candidate to serve as a long-term alternative or successor. Although the club evaluated Palmisani during the summer, the current priority remains Vicario's continuity and performance on the pitch.

Following a period without playing time with the Italian national team, Vicario is expected to return to action in the upcoming match against Cagliari to maintain match rhythm and solidify his position through consistent performances.
