Guided hiking excursions planned for November 1 in Italy

Two different hiking excursions are scheduled for Sunday, November 1, in various Italian regions.

In the Ronza Park area, the Erei Hikers group is organizing a 6.5 km loop trek through chestnut forests and pine groves. The walk is designed for all skill levels and is free of charge. Participants are advised to bring appropriate autumn clothing, trekking shoes, water, and a packed lunch.

In the Castelli Romani Park, a guided 14 km excursion will take place between Genzano and Nemi. Led by environmental guide Alessandra Fiandra and supported by the Lazio Region, the route explores the sacred woods of Diana, the geology of the Laziale Volcano, and the history of Roman ships found near Lake Nemi. The hike includes a stop in Nemi and a descent to the area near the Museum of Ships.
