Guidelines for selecting recuperation filters and heating systems

Selecting appropriate filters for recuperation systems requires considering manufacturer recommendations, dimensions, filtration class, and air flow resistance. Filters protect the heat exchanger and prevent energy loss. Filtration classes such as ISO Coarse (formerly G3/G4) capture large dust particles, while ePM1 or ePM2.5 classes are better for fine pollutants, particularly in areas with high traffic.

In new construction, underfloor heating has become a standard due to its compatibility with low-temperature heat sources like heat pumps. It offers optimal temperature distribution, aesthetic benefits, and a healthier microclimate by reducing dust convection. For existing buildings, modernizing radiator systems with aluminum or steel models and wireless thermostatic heads is often more practical than installing underfloor heating, which requires significant floor reconstruction.
