Guidonia Montecelio secures pre-season victories over Foligno and Perugia

Guidonia Montecelio 1937 Fcsi has concluded its Umbria-Tuscany tour with a perfect record of victories during their pre-season preparations.

In one match against Foligno, Guidonia secured a win despite a comeback attempt by the home side. After Babbi opened the scoring early, Guidonia's D'Urso equalized with a diagonal strike. A late penalty converted by Sannipoli secured the victory for Guidonia. The team is now preparing for its first official engagement in the Coppa Italia on August 14 against Grosseto.

In a separate friendly match held at the “Degli Esposti” stadium in Bastia Umbra, Guidonia also defeated Perugia 1-0. The decisive moment came early in the second half when Diego Zuppel converted a penalty following a foul on Mastrantonio.
