Guidonia Montecelio dismisses head coach Giovanni Lopez

Guidonia Montecelio 1937 FC has announced the dismissal of head coach Giovanni Lopez. The decision follows a 1-1 draw against Livorno, which marked the end of a period where the team secured nine points from six matches.

Despite a record of two wins, three draws, and one loss, the club's management expressed dissatisfaction with the team's overall performance and its inability to meet high expectations regarding playing style and potential. The club had invested significantly in the squad, leading to increased pressure for consistent results and a more proactive style of play.

Potential candidates to replace Lopez include Ciro Ginestra, who is currently under contract with the club, and experienced coach Fabio Liverani. The club is expected to finalize a decision regarding the new technical leadership in the coming hours.
