Guidonia Montecelio inaugurates new police Control Room

A new technologically advanced Control Room was inaugurated at the Local Police Command in Guidonia Montecelio on September 24, 2026. Located on Via Roma, the facility is designed to enhance urban security and territorial monitoring through direct connection to the city's video surveillance system.

The center allows for real-time monitoring of urban areas, peripheral zones, and critical points. It enables the coordination of local police patrols in synergy with other law enforcement agencies to respond to emerging situations and risks. Additionally, the recorded footage will serve as a tool for judicial authorities during investigations.

Mayor Mauro Lombardo attended the ceremony alongside Prosecutor Andrea Calice and Rome Police Commissioner Roberto Massucci. Lombardo stated that the facility represents a concrete investment in citizen safety and quality of life, aiming to create a more integrated and effective security model for the community.
