Guidova vineyard opens, boosting Coahuila's wine tourism

A new wine estate, Casa Vitivinícola Guidova, was inaugurated in the Chapultepec ejido of the Sierra de Arteaga, joining Coahuila's Ruta Vinos y Dinos. Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas attended the ceremony and said the project strengthens tourism, the regional economy and positions the state as a leading destination for wine, gastronomy and nature tourism.

Co‑founder and enologist José Trillo explained that Guidova combines the viticultural tradition of Parras de la Fuente with the natural conditions of the Sierra de Arteaga to produce wines such as Guidova Malbec, Guidova Cabernet Sauvignon and a blended “30” label. Local officials—including Arteaga mayor Karen Sánchez Flores, Saltillo mayor Javier Díaz González and tourism secretary Cristina Amezcua—were also present, highlighting the project's role in fostering investment, security and international market access for Coahuila wines.
