Águilas del Zulia advance preseason training in Maracaibo

The Águilas del Zulia are progressing through their preseason training at the Estadio Luis Aparicio in Maracaibo as they prepare for the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) season. Manager Guillermo Quiroz recently led his first full practice and an inter-squad game, emphasizing an aggressive and dynamic style of play focused on base running and attacking pitchers.

Recent training sessions have seen the integration of several key players. Aron Estrada, a prospect for the Baltimore Orioles, has returned to the team after developing in the Minor Leagues, where he recently recorded 25 home runs. Additionally, Aeverson Arteaga, an infielder with the San Francisco Giants, has joined the squad and participated in defensive drills and inter-squad play. Quiroz noted that the pitching staff has shown solid performance, specifically regarding strike zone command.
