The league confirmed no contract or authorization exists, warned fans not to purchase tickets, and condemned the unauthorized use of the team’s logos.

Separately, third‑base star Maikel García, who plays for the Kansas City Royals and the Venezuelan national team, publicly requested a trade from the Tiburones de La Guaira.
