Águilas UASLP marching band performs at Universiada Cervantina

The Águilas UASLP marching band from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí participated in the 2026 Universiada Cervantina in Guanajuato. The group, representing the Facultad de Estudios Profesionales Zona Huasteca (FEPZH), performed as the opening contingent during the “Compite Universitario” parade on September 3.

This marks the group’s second consecutive year participating in the event hosted by the Universidad de Guanajuato. The ensemble consists of approximately 62 members who combine musical performances with visual elements such as batons and flags. The group maintains a regular rehearsal schedule to prepare for regional and national cultural engagements.
