Guillaume Pley faces allegations of inappropriate conduct with minors

French media personality Guillaume Pley is facing serious allegations regarding inappropriate conduct with minors and a toxic work environment. An investigation by Le Monde has revealed Facebook messages from 2011, when Pley was 26 and working at NRJ, involving a 14-year-old girl. The messages reportedly included sexual propositions and references to a three-way encounter involving a colleague, Julien Seeberger.

In response to the allegations, Pley expressed deep regret, stating that while some social media accounts were co-managed by his team, he acknowledges that certain messages were “clearly inappropriate and lacked discernment.” He noted that societal standards have changed and that he no longer views past behaviors through the same lens.

However, former colleague Florent and Julien Seeberger have contested Pley's explanations. Seeberger expressed surprise at being mentioned in the explicit conversations and noted that the messages appeared to originate from Pley’s private Facebook account rather than a professional show account. Additionally, Pley addressed claims regarding a workplace culture at Legend, asserting that no racist or sexist remarks are accepted and that inappropriate behavior has been sanctioned.
