Guillermo Britos discusses potential leadership transition in Chivilcoy

During the 172nd anniversary celebrations of Chivilcoy, Mayor Guillermo Britos announced that he is in discussions with engineer Eduardo De Lillo regarding a potential transition of power. If current laws limiting consecutive re-elections for municipal leaders are not modified, De Lillo may assume leadership of the executive branch on December 10 to complete the current term.

Britos expressed hope for legislative changes that would allow mayors to seek further re-election if they maintain public support. He emphasized institutional continuity, stating that his administration's team is capable of managing the municipality regardless of his personal tenure.

In addition to political discussions, Britos addressed the economic challenges facing municipalities due to declining revenue and economic activity. The ceremony also included the recognition of Horacio Antonio Milozzi as an illustrious citizen of the district for his professional football career.
