Goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa, aged 40, has been named to Mexico's squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking his sixth tournament appearance and tying the record for most World Cup participations alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. The 2026 World Cup will be co‑hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico and run from 11 June to 19 July.

Mexico's 26‑man roster, announced by coach Javier Agueró, includes experienced defenders such as Raúl Rangel and newcomers like 17‑year‑old midfielder Hilberto Mora, who will become the youngest Mexican player ever to appear at a World Cup. The list also features naturalised players Alvaro Fidalgo and Julian Kinyones. Mexico will play a final friendly versus Serbia before opening the tournament against South Africa at the Acteca stadium on 11 June.
