Guillermo Quiroz wins second consecutive Minor League title

Venezuelan strategist Guillermo Quiroz has secured his second consecutive Minor League Baseball championship. Leading the Winston-Salem Dash, an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, Quiroz guided the team to the 2026 South Atlantic League title after a perfect postseason performance, defeating the Greensboro Grasshoppers 2-0 in the championship series.

This achievement precedes Quiroz’s scheduled return to Venezuela, where he has been announced as the manager for the Águilas del Zulia for the 2026-27 LVBP season. His previous title was earned in 2025 while managing the Birmingham Barons.
