Guillermo Tolosa highlights Uruguay's economic stability in Salto
Guillermo Tolosa, President of the Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU), held a conference in Salto to discuss the country's macroeconomic situation with local business leaders, merchants, and regional authorities.
Tolosa emphasized the importance of monetary and price stability to protect the purchasing power of citizens. He noted that the current inflation target is 4.5% and highlighted that the country has reached historically low inflation levels.
