Redondo August Festival kicks off with concerts, bullfighting and local crafts

The annual August Festival in the Portuguese town of Redondo began on July 30, featuring a programme of music, bullfighting and wine promotion across several venues. The opening night included a concert by the three‑member group Triskle in Praça da República, followed by a DJ set in the Parque Ambiental that continued into the early hours.

On the second day, July 31, singer Tita performed at 22:00 in Praça da República while the Coliseu hosted a traditional corrida de touros. After the concert, the festivities moved back to the Parque Ambiental for midnight DJ sets by DJ San and Alan Briats, running until 02:30. The festival runs through August 2, with additional activities such as local crafts exhibitions and wine tastings in the Largo dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and other town squares.
