Guimarães highlighted as model for innovation and community fund use

During the Innovation Roadmap assessment in Guimarães, Álvaro Santos, President of CCDR Norte, highlighted the municipality's sustainable and competitive dynamics. Guimarães serves as a primary example of the effective application of community funds.

The NORTE 2030 program is currently supporting approximately 90 projects across the region. Out of a total planned investment of 113 million euros, 61 million euros have already been allocated, with a strategic focus on sustainability, urban regeneration, and continuous innovation.
