Guimarães hosts major national sustainability and mobility events

Guimarães, designated as the European Green Capital, will host two major national events focused on sustainability and environmental management this September.

From September 8 to 10, the city will host the 8th National Urban Cleaning Meeting (ENLU), organized by the Urban Cleaning Association (ALU). The event brings together municipalities, companies, and policymakers to discuss the role of urban cleaning in city transformation, covering topics such as public space management, green zones, and environmental inspection.

Following this, on September 19 and 20, Guimarães will host the National Electric Vehicle Meeting (ENVE), organized by the Association of Electric Vehicle Users (UVE). The event features an exhibition of the latest electric mobility solutions, charging technologies, and test drives, aiming to promote efficient and environmentally friendly transportation transitions.
