Guinea weather alert issued for heavy rainfall across multiple regions

The National Meteorological Agency (ANM) has issued weather warnings for Guinea, forecasting heavy rainfall across several regions over the next 24 hours. While Lower Guinea, Middle Guinea, and Forest Guinea are expected to see light rain, Upper Guinea is projected to experience heavy precipitation.

On Wednesday, September 23, heavy rain is anticipated in parts of Lower and Upper Guinea, particularly during the morning and afternoon. Temperatures are expected to range from a minimum of 18°C in Mali to a maximum of 34°C in Koundara. Authorities have advised residents in flood-prone areas, vulnerable neighborhoods, and road users to take necessary precautions to mitigate the risks of flooding and accidents.
