Guinea wins second place in international opto-electronics competition

Komakan Diabaté, a student from the École nationale des Arts et Métiers de Siguiri, has secured second place in the opto-electronics category at an international technical skills competition held in Russia. The event featured approximately 1,500 participants representing roughly 50 different countries.

Following his return to Guinea, Diabaté was received on September 1 by Bintou Keïta, the Minister of National Education, Literacy, Technical Education, and Vocational Training. The Minister praised the achievement as a source of pride for the Guinean educational system and extended congratulations to the student, his instructors, and the pedagogical team. The distinction is being highlighted as a demonstration of the growing competence within Guinea's technical and vocational training sectors.
