Guinean citizens appeal to President Mamadi Doumbouya for assistance

Two separate appeals have been directed to Guinean President Mamadi Doumbouya regarding humanitarian and consular matters.

Orphans from several Saint-Joseph orphanages in Guinea, including those from Labé, Dubréka, N’Zérékoré, and Conakry, are requesting government support to obtain visas for France. The children seek to attend the funeral of Father Étienne-Marie Strirnemann, a social worker who supported over 1,000 orphans, 500 elderly individuals, and 1,000 people living on the streets or suffering from illness.

Separately, Amadou Chico Cissoko, a Guinean entrepreneur based in Kenya, has issued an open letter to the President. He is requesting consular protection for his two young sons, aged 6 and 9, who remain in Kenya following the death of their mother. Cissoko has raised concerns regarding judicial irregularities in the Meru children's court and is calling for a Guinean observer to be present at upcoming hearings.
