Drummondville police search for suspects after high-speed chase

Police in Drummondville, Quebec, are searching for two suspects, believed to be adolescents, following a high-speed pursuit. The incident began on Boulevard Saint-Joseph when officers attempted to intercept a speeding vehicle. The driver refused to stop, leading to a crash in a cul-de-sac on Morse Street, where the vehicle struck trees in a wooded area.

Witnesses reported seeing at least two young people flee the vehicle on foot into the nearby woods. The Sûreté du Québec deployed canine units to assist in the search of the forested sector near Highway 55. Authorities have cordoned off certain areas as the investigation continues.
