Guiseley defeats Curzon Ashton 2-1 in comeback victory

Guiseley secured a 2-1 comeback victory against Curzon Ashton at Tameside Stadium. The hosts took an early lead in the eighth minute when defender Joel Amado scored with a header from a corner.

Guiseley responded in the 30th minute when Elliot Owen equalized with a header following a corner from Kyle White. Guiseley then took the lead shortly after, as Lebrun Mbeka scored from close range after a rebound from an Aaron Martin effort. Despite several opportunities for Curzon Ashton, including chances for Alex Curran, Guiseley maintained their lead to claim all three points.
