Guitar Meeting Festival sets record with 1,200 musicians in Sibiu

Over 1,200 guitarists performed simultaneously during the Manifest Concert at the Guitar Meeting Festival 2026, held at the ASTRA Museum in Sibiu. The event saw participation from musicians representing more than 60 localities across Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

The group performed 18 Romanian and international songs in unison, including tracks such as ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and ‘Have You Ever Seen the Rain’. The performance concluded with a rendition of Pink Floyd’s ‘Another Brick in the Wall’. The festival set a new participation record, with organizers noting that registration had to be closed early due to overwhelming demand. The youngest participant in the event was four years old.
