Guizhou car crash kills seven people
Seven people died in Guizhou province, southern China, after a car crashed into the rear of a parked truck. The accident occurred at 01:42 local time on an avenue in the Longli district.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver, a 19-year-old identified by the surname Wang, was operating a vehicle approved for five occupants despite carrying seven people at the time of the collision. Authorities reported that alcohol was detected in the driver's system, with a concentration of 66 milligrams per 100 milliliters. All seven occupants of the vehicle perished in the crash. Local police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
