Gujarat CM approves Rs 99.5 lakh for Sabarkantha road project

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has sanctioned Rs 99.50 lakh for the construction of an asphalt-paved road in Bhatela village, located in the Vijaynagar taluka of Sabarkantha district. The decision follows a grievance submitted by a local resident, Tusharbhai, during a State Wide Attention on Grievances by Application of Technology (SWAGAT) session.

Following the representation, the Chief Minister directed the Roads and Buildings Department and the Sabarkantha District Collector to provide details and ensure the project is completed within three months. The funding has been granted under the emergency tender road provision to facilitate the conversion of the existing metal-surfaced road into a paved asphalt road.

The SWAGAT initiative, originally launched by Narendra Modi during his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister, serves as an online platform for citizens to raise grievances directly with the administration. Chief Minister Patel attends these sessions on the fourth Thursday of every month to issue time-bound directions to relevant departments.
