Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel launches Travel & Tourism Fair in Gandhinagar

On 6 August, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Travel and Trade Fair 2026 at the Mahatma Temple in Gandhinagar. The three‑day event, running 6‑8 August, features a B2B travel exhibition aimed at strengthening the state's tourism ecosystem and promoting destinations across India.

More than 900 exhibitors and tourism departments from several states, including Goa and Uttarakhand, participated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “One India, Best India” for tourism was highlighted, and Gujarat has declared 2026 the year of tourism to showcase its attractions internationally.
