Gujarat companies announce engineering and apprentice recruitment

Several companies in Gujarat have announced recruitment and apprenticeship opportunities for 2026.

Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) is hiring seven Diploma Mechanical Engineers for its Surat Lignite Power Plant on a fixed-term contract basis. The positions are open to 2025 or 2026 graduates with at least 65% aggregate marks. Monthly remuneration starts at ₹27,000 in the first year, increasing annually up to ₹29,760 by the third year. Applications must be submitted online by September 4, 2026.

Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) has also released a notification for apprentice training at its Baroda and Dahej plants. The recruitment covers various disciplines, including ITI trade apprentices, technician diploma apprentices, graduate engineer apprentices, and roles such as apprentice accountant and junior data associate. The application window is open from August 27 to September 5, 2026.
