Gujarat Deputy CM praises Bhupendra Patel for corruption crackdown

Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi has praised Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for his decisive actions against corruption. Speaking at an event in Gandhinagar, Sanghavi claimed that Patel has taken more significant action against corrupt officials than through public statements, metaphorically stating that the Chief Minister has made the “highest number of corrupt officials in the entire country drink Gangajal.”

During the program, which marked the inauguration of development projects valued at Rs 1,848 crore, Sanghavi highlighted the transformation of Gandhinagar. He noted that the city has evolved from a primarily administrative center into a vibrant urban hub featuring modern facilities, industry, and trade. He credited much of this development, including projects like GIFT City and Mahatma Mandir, to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sanghavi also emphasized that the state government's decisions are centered on citizen interests and are free from political vendetta. He noted the increased nighttime activity in Gandhinagar and the government's support for cultural traditions such as Navratri.
