Gujarat government holds VGGS 2027 investment roadshow in Mumbai
The Gujarat government held a roadshow in Mumbai to promote the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027. Led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, the event aimed to strengthen engagement with the global diplomatic and business communities.
During the roadshow at The Taj Mahal Palace, the Chief Minister held one-on-one meetings with leaders from major corporations, including the Mahindra Group, Tata Trusts, Reliance Industries, and Piramal Group. Anish Shah, CEO and MD of Mahindra & Mahindra, described Gujarat as one of the country’s most dynamic states, noting the group’s extensive presence in the region across sectors such as tractor manufacturing, renewables, and hospitality.
Other industry leaders, including Nikhil V. Merchant of Swan Energy, expressed satisfaction with the state’s active policies. The program included presentations from the Industries and Mines Department and interactions with Consul Generals and industry captains to build momentum for the 2027 summit.
