Gujarat Health Minister inspects Navsari Primary Health Centre

Gujarat Health Minister Praful Pansheriya conducted a surprise inspection of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Alipor, located in the Chikhli taluka of Navsari district. During the visit, the Minister evaluated the availability of medicines, medical equipment, staff performance, and basic facilities such as cleanliness and drinking water.

Pansheriya interacted with medical staff, including doctors and nursing personnel, to assess the facility's functioning. He emphasized that PHCs serve as a vital first point of contact for citizens and stated that cleanliness, discipline, and sensitivity toward patients are as essential as the quality of medical treatment provided.

The Minister noted that the standards of cleanliness and organization observed at the Alipor PHC should be modeled by other Community Health Centres (CHCs) and PHCs throughout the state. He also used the visit to recognize and felicitate health and sanitation workers for their dedicated service.
