Gujarat honors 40 educators with State Best Teacher awards

In celebration of Teacher's Day, 40 educators from across Gujarat were honored with the ‘State Best Teacher’ awards during a state-level ceremony in Gandhinagar. The awards, which included certificates of appreciation and cash prizes, were presented by Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to recognize significant contributions to education and student development.

During the event, Governor Acharya Devvrat emphasized the importance of integrating moral values with technical knowledge. He advocated for a balance between modern technology and traditional culture, urging teachers to instruct students on patriotism, respect for parents, and the art of living alongside their regular academic curricula. He noted that true knowledge should lead to liberation and warned that education lacking ethical values could lead to social instability.
