Gujarat Minister meets Amit Shah to discuss Ahmedabad Science City expansion

Gujarat Science and Technology Minister Arjun Modhwadia met with Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss the expansion of Ahmedabad’s Science City. The meeting focused on strengthening Gujarat’s science, innovation, and technology ecosystem, with a specific emphasis on providing advanced scientific experiences for the younger generation.

The discussions align with Gujarat’s broader strategy to develop technology-oriented infrastructure in sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, cybersecurity, and smart infrastructure. The goal is to establish the state as a global hub for science and innovation.

This meeting follows a recent interaction between Modhwadia and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during which the Minister expressed gratitude for the central government’s approval of a mega shipbuilding project in Porbandar, projected to attract approximately Rs 27,500 crore in investment.
