The investigation began following a theft on May 29 at the Rishiraj Complex in Balitha, where gold jewelry and 2.4 lakh rupees in cash were stolen. Investigators utilized over 200 CCTV recordings from the Vapi-Mumbai route to identify the suspects, who reportedly used a red Pulsar motorcycle. Both men have extensive criminal records in various parts of Maharashtra, including charges for robbery and violations of the Arms Act.
