Gujarati cinema sees new releases and production starts

The Gujarati film industry is seeing new developments with the release of the song ‘Pankhida’ from the upcoming family entertainer ‘Chatni’. The song features lead actors Malhar Thakar and Puja Joshi, marking their first time appearing together on screen since their marriage. The film is directed by Saandeep Patel and produced by EForU Entertainment and Buddhipriyay Pictures Production.

In a separate development, Ketudada Entertainment has commenced production on a new Gujarati comedy titled ‘Rafuchakkar’. Following a muhurat ceremony in Ahmedabad, filming is scheduled to begin on September 16 in the outskirts of Gandhinagar. Written and directed by Rakesh Shah, the film aims to provide clean, family-oriented situational comedy.
