Gulbene Mini Rally 2026 sees Subaru team win overall

On 25 July 2026, the Gulbenes city festival hosted the mini‑rally “Gulbis 2026”. Despite wet weather elsewhere in Latvia, the Gulbene region offered dry, firm roads typical of summer rallies, allowing competitors to post similar times across two runs.

The overall victory in the 4WD+ class was claimed by the team of Jānis Lazdiņš and Armands Jugans driving a Subaru Impreza. Other class winners included Jānis Sloka in the 1600 cc class, Arnis Blūmfelds taking second on the podium, Kristaps Priedīte and Atis Līcis battling for the remaining spots, and Gvido Rozenblūms winning the 2WD class. Event director Vilhelms Sniedzāns praised the organization and participant satisfaction.
