Gulf Islamic Investments acquires majority stake in London House Exchange
Gulf Islamic Investments (GII), a UAE-headquartered Shari’ah-compliant alternative investment group, has acquired a majority stake in London House Exchange from Better Home & Finance Holding Company. The transaction received approval from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Better Home & Finance Holding Company will maintain its position as a strategic minority shareholder. London House Exchange operates a regulated digital marketplace for fractional UK property investments, though its FCA permissions allow for the structuring and distribution of investment products beyond real estate.
GII intends to utilize the acquisition to expand its international financial services platform. Future plans include developing the business into additional alternative investments, such as private credit and equity-linked products, as well as exploring regulated tokenization capabilities to support digital ownership of real-world assets.
