Gulfstream Park sees success for Saffie Joseph Jr. and Leonel Reyes Ramos

At Gulfstream Park, trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. secured his fourth consecutive victory in the Princess Rooney (G3) with Kerry’s Kiss. Ridden by Edwin González, the horse won from start to finish, defeating the favorite, Simply Joking. This win qualifies Kerry’s Kiss for the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint at Keeneland on October 31 through the “Win and You’re In” program.

In separate racing news at the same venue, Venezuelan jockey Leonel Reyes Ramos achieved five victories during a nine-race Sunday program. Reyes won five races in total, including a streak of four consecutive wins from the second through the sixth race. His winning mounts included Wine Candy, Awesome Noah, Lady Chance, Ciborio, and Oxar.
