Gulshan Grover celebrates 71st birthday after 400-film career

Bollywood actor Gulshan Grover is celebrating his 71st birthday. Known widely by his moniker ‘Bad Man’ for his iconic villainous roles, Grover has appeared in over 400 films throughout his career.

Born in Delhi in 1955, Grover moved to Mumbai to pursue acting after studying in his hometown. During his early years, he faced significant financial struggles; according to his biography ‘Bad Man’, he sold dishwashing and laundry powder door-to-door to pay his school fees.

After starting in theater, he made his film debut in 1980 with ‘Hum Paanch’. His filmography includes notable titles such as ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Mohra’, ‘Hera Pheri’, and ‘Agent Vinod’. Beyond villainous roles, he received a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in ‘I Am Kalam’.
