Gulveer Singh wins two silver medals at Asian Games

Indian long-distance runner Gulveer Singh has secured two silver medals at the 2026 Asian Games. Singh first earned silver in the men’s 10,000-meter race with a time of 28:29.38. He followed this achievement by winning a second silver medal in the 1,500-meter race, clocking a time of 3:36.72.

With these victories, Singh becomes the first Indian athlete to win two Asian Games medals in the 10,000-meter event. His performance in the 1,500-meter final placed him just 0.37 seconds behind the gold medalist, Japan’s Kazuto Izawa.
