Gumi Food Festival to feature 200 menu items in October

The 2026 Gumi Food Festival is scheduled to take place on October 17–18 along a 1.5km stretch of Songjeong Matgil in Gumi, South Korea. Under the slogan ‘Autumn, Gumi (Taste) is Calling~’, the urban festival will feature approximately 200 different menu items.

The event includes various themed zones such as a Local Gourmet Zone, a Samgyeopsal (pork belly) Zone, an Asian Cuisine Zone, a Bakery and Cafe Zone, and a Food Tech Exhibition Zone. To ensure quality, participating vendors received menu consulting from professional chefs.

Programming includes a national character costume contest with a total prize pool of 5.6 million won, a Kids Honey Taste Zone for children, and various musical performances. Scheduled entertainment features singer Jeong Mi-ae and entertainer Kim Shin-young, who will host a ‘Food and Talk’ session.
