Gun Lake Tribe announces $300 million expansion in Michigan

The Gun Lake Tribe has announced a $300 million expansion project for Fire Lake Casino in Wayland, Michigan. The development includes a 15-story hotel and a multi-purpose “aquadome” closed pond facility designed to serve as a lifestyle destination.

The expansion aims to establish the area as a major activity destination in the Midwest. The project will feature several new restaurants and bars, offering a variety of dining options ranging from casual to upscale. While the casino does not currently operate an on-site hotel, it utilizes regional accommodations in Wayland, Grand Rapids, and Kalamazoo.
