Gundam and Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu announce collaboration

The STRICT-G JAPAN brand has announced a new collaboration between the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise and Ichizawa Shinzaburo Hanpu, a traditional handmade canvas bag manufacturer based in Higashiyama, Kyoto.

The collection features high-quality cotton canvas bags, including horizontal and vertical styles. Designs include Gundam patterns and brush-stroke depictions of the Char's Zaku II. Each bag is handcrafted by skilled artisans using specially woven canvas and custom hardware.

Additionally, the collaboration includes T-shirts featuring Japanese-style designs, such as Gundam and Char's Zaku II set against Mount Fuji. These items will be available for pre-order via Premium Bandai starting October 29, 2026, with general sales beginning October 31, 2026, at various STRICT-G retail locations.
