Gundam announces 40th anniversary video game livestream

The Gundam franchise has announced a special livestream to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its video games. The event is scheduled to take place around the end of October 2026.

According to an announcement from Gundam Perfect Games on X, the broadcast will focus specifically on the franchise's gaming history rather than the broader 50th anniversary of the series. While specific details are limited, industry observers suggest the stream may provide updates on the upcoming title, Gundam: Rogue Orbit, which is slated for a 2027 release.

This announcement comes as fans await news regarding the live-action Gundam film starring Sydney Sweeney.
