Japanese anime brands announce new merchandise and collectibles

Various Japanese anime-related merchandise and collectibles have been announced for upcoming release.

Megahouse is releasing a life-size Pochita doll from ‘Chainsaw Man’, measuring approximately 60cm and featuring sound gimmicks including character voices and engine noises. Pre-orders for the doll began on September 11, 2026, with shipping expected in February 2027.

Bandai has announced a collaboration between ‘Mobile Suit Gundam’ and traditional Kutani ware, featuring a six-piece set of small plates decorated with Gundam characters. Additionally, Megahouse is releasing a ‘Newtype Awakening’ figure set featuring Char Aznable and Lalah Sune, and AmiAmi is offering a 1/144 scale RX-78-2 Gundam model kit.

From the series ‘The Apothecary Diaries’, Good Smile Company is producing Nendoroid Plus rubber mascots of the character Maomao, scheduled for release in March 2027.
