Gundam Rogue Orbit details revealed and RTA in Japan Winter 2026 announced

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released new details for the upcoming video game ‘GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT’. Concept art has been unveiled for the protagonist machine, ‘Gundam Helix’, and the enemy, ‘Apocalypse’. The game follows pilot Rex and his companion Haro, ‘Vee’, as they battle silicon-based lifeforms from outside the solar system. The title is scheduled for release in 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, sharing a universe with the new animation ‘Mobile Suit Gundam RG Alex Zero’.

Separately, the charity speedrunning organization RTA in Japan has announced ‘RTA in Japan Winter 2026’. The event will take place from December 25 to December 31 at Bellesalle Iidabashi First in Tokyo. The event will primarily be held offline with some online components. All proceeds from the event, after taxes, will be donated to Doctors Without Borders.
