Gundam merchandise announcements include new Ichiban Kuji and high-end Gashapon models

New Gundam-themed merchandise and collectibles have been announced for upcoming releases.

The Ichiban Kuji ‘Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century Saga 2’ is scheduled for release on October 3, 2026. The lineup includes an RX-78-2 Gundam bust with clear parts, a Heritage Box containing items like Kou Uraki’s ID card, and a Masterlise figure of Amuro Ray. Other prizes include MS head magnets, rubber charms, acrylic stands, and clear sticker sets.

Additionally, Gashapon Online has opened second-round reservations for the ‘Exceed Model Trinity RX-78-2 Gundam Cable + Light Unit Set.’ This high-end capsule toy, priced at 1,850 yen, allows users to assemble a 20cm bust-up model featuring illuminated components for the head and cockpit. Reservations are open until October 15, with shipping expected in late December 2026.
