Gunma Crane Thunders defeat Tokyo Sunrockers in preseason match

The Gunma Crane Thunders defeated the Tokyo Sunrockers 69–54 in a B.League preseason match held on September 13. The game utilized a modified format consisting of four 8-minute quarters.

Stanley Johnson led the scoring for Gunma with 17 points, including five 3-pointers, while Kelly Blackshear Jr. contributed 12 points. Head coach Kyle Milling noted that the match served as a physical challenge for the team's Japanese players against a lineup featuring four foreign and naturalized players from the Sunrockers.

Following the victory, Milling emphasized that while team chemistry is strong, the focus remains on refining tactical adjustments before the regular season begins.
